Laekin Heart Guinea Pigs

I took Laekin to a little petting zoo in San Juan. She loved all the animals but especially loved holding the guinea pigs. I love the look on her face... she looks so mothering.

1st Vacation with the 4 Wheels!

In March we took a little family vacation to the Welk Resorts in San Diego. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed lots of fun times together as a family. We went swimming, BBQed, Jer and I enjoyed playing games when the kids napped, went on walks, and laughed a lot! Good times.

Little Mama

Our sweet little Laekin has been developing her mothering skills lately. She loves her baby Kate and takes care of her by rocking her to sleep, feeding her, and changing her diaper. One day last week when I was sick and crying on the couch she saw me and ran into the bathroom to get a kleenex. She came to me with concern and said "Mommy wipe your tears" as she kept wiping my eyes over and over.
