Thanks Dad-
On Saturday we went to LA Firestation #29. We celebrated 32 years of my dad being a fireman/now captain for the LA Fire Dept. He made a wonderful prime rib dinner, with twice baked potatoes, yummy green beans, and homemade cheesecake! It was also the first time that Laekin had been to the firestation. Her favorite, of course, was their dalmation fire dog "Wilshire." To read more about him go to www.wilshirethefiredog.org. Wait, your dad cooked for his own celebration???:-) It does sound like an impressive dinner and it looks like you all had a great time!
I love this! Did you dad fight some of the fires from this past oct? He is such a hero! Van would love to go check out the fire house one of these days! xoxo
