Santa Barbara

I am a bit behind on posts lately. My brother got married on August 16th to his beautiful wife Jill. Jeremy, Laekin, and I were all in the wedding along with my sis, Matt and nephew Silas. As a bridesmaid I got to have my hair and makeup done! I am assuming it was pretty noticible since my almost 2 year old daughter saw me and said "Mama EYES" and then looked at my lips and said "Blood." It gave us a good laugh! They got married at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara and it was truly amazing. Definitely the nicest wedding we have ever been to! We ate great food, danced, and had a wonderful time celebrating the marriage of Nick and Jill.

Back from vacation.

We had a great 2 weeks together as a family. We enjoyed some down-time, boating, the sun, swimming, eating yummy food, playing games, and watching Laekin play in the dirt! 4th of July

This little one....

...IS A BOY! Can you believe it! Jeremy and I gave in this time and just found out the gender of our baby today. We thought we were going to be able to wait again... but it was harder this time. We are glad that we found out and excited to meet our little son!

Happy 5th Anniversary...

Jeremy and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on the 21st! I can't believe it has been 5 years already. We went to Palm Springs for a couple days while my parents watched Laekin. We enjoyed the simple things that we don't always get to do these days... laid by the pool, went out to a peaceful dinner, played one of our favorite games (Settlers of Catan), and went to a movie. Thanks babe for a great couple of days!

It is finally complete....

We finished the final project of installing artificial turf in our backyard this weekend. It is so great to be able to enjoy the little extra space that we have.
