This past weekend we headed down to Imperial Beach to stay at our relatives' beach house. The last time we were there Laekin was just a little peanut. It was great to be there again this time with both kiddos. It was such a relaxing and peaceful weekend as a family. As soon as we walked in the house and we were quickly reminded of the amazing view, I felt God calling us to come rest, be renewed, and to be still in His presence.

Laekin and I were having a little dance party when Micah decided to join us after his bath!
This crazy boy was very unsure about his cinnamon roll.
Since Laekin has been about 2.5 years old she has loved coloring and drawing. It is so much fun to see her grow in her creativeness and ability to draw. I am already saving a portfolio of her work! Here are a few of her latest ones- inspired by herself!
She colored this fish at church one morning.
This is a picture of mommy and daddy inside of a frame. (Check out Daddy's "little hair.")
Her first rainbow.
She said this one is two apple trees and one M&M tree!
We had a great time celebrating Father's Day with Jeremy on Saturday evening. We had our first family campout in our own backyard! Jeremy and the kids set up the tent and we BBQed hotdogs for dinner. After dinner we had a campfire and roasted marshmallows. Micah held on to his smore for dear life and savored it for an hour! Then we all slept together in the tent. So fun. Jeremy- I am so blessed by the amazing dad that you are to our kids. I am so grateful for your unending love for them.
